English Version of the Danube Box

The Danube Box, a comprehensive media set offering exciting, knowlegdeable and useful materials for educators and children aged nine to twelve, motivates to learn more about the Danube and its tributaries, and to discover and explore its common features and unifying links.

The Danube Box has been developed within the framework of the "Green Danube Partnership" between the International Commission for the Danube River (ICPDR), the Coca-Cola Company and the Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company. A prototype of the Danube Box was produced and implemented in Austria in autumn 2006.

Translation, production and implementation of the national versions of the Danube Box are currently under way in five Danube countries, in close cooperation with the respective ministries, educational institutions and NGOs.
